Unusual textured solid sterling silver brooch featuring 4 different snails, a fern and a lab-grown opal. The fern was cast in fine silver from a leylandii leaf in my garden, and the snails were die-struck by hand in a metal mould. The large 17mm monarch opal is lab created to mimic the fire patterns of natural opals, and is durable and beautiful. This unusual brooch is weighty and solid and has been fully hallmarked in London including limited edition coronation stamp. Total one of a kind, it weighs 12.8g and is 30mm across.
