Handmade sterling and fine silver pendant made entirely from scratch to house a beautiful scenic dendritic opal (also known as merlinite). The stone has a gorgeous pale peach, white and black colour, and is a mixture of translucent and opaque opal with black moss-like patterns from oxides of metals like iron and manganese. This pendant has a romantic secret, as a small heart is hand-cut out of the back of the mount, so when you hold the pendant up to the light you can see the heart through the translucent opal. The pendant measures approx. 33x16mm (opal is 24mmx16mm).
